The Canadian Paralympic Committee is proud to announce the location of Canada Paralympic House for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games. While the scenario is eerily similar to Australia, it is actually Canada and early signs are the property market is rapidly cooling. The house has also become a place of pilgrimage for past and present members of the Queen’s Own Rifles (QOR), a Toronto-based army regiment whose members came ashore directly below the house. Its close proximity to Upper Canada Village and Upper Canada Golf Course make it the ideal location to mix business with pleasure. To calculate an estimated gross income required, you need the purchase price, down payment, interest rate, estimated property taxes, and a minimum of $100 a month for heating costs.
The Guest House is conveniently close to local businesses, communities and world-class attractions and is just 1¼ hours southeast of Ottawa, and 1½ hours west of Montreal. Bright spaces The Queen Elizabeth Atrium, a sun-lit central feature of Canada House, also hosts a number of Indigenous art pieces, celebrating our connection to Canada’s heritage.
Further, Moss and Lam art studios, a west-end Toronto-based firm that has worked in partnership with YP for a number of years, designed and built Canadian-inspired art installations for Canada House, while Saint Damase and Quality and Company also contributed their creativity, energy and materials.

Although Canada House will only be available for use by companies that have come through the programs of the sponsor organizations, Mr. Teja indicated incubators in other tech hubs such as Vancouver, Ottawa and New Brunswick could be invited to join Canada House should the pilot project develop into a longer-term initiative.
